MTEF’s 7th Annual 5K Run/Walk and Kids’ 100 Metre Dash

Last year’s event raised over $10,000 for the Mequon Thiensville Education Foundation which provides private financial support to the Mequon-Thiensville School District. Come run or walk and help support our schools.


7:30 a.m. – Registration / Packet pick-up
9:00 a.m – 5K Run/Walk
10:00 a.m. – Kids’ 100m Dash
10:15 a.m. – Awards

All runs start and end at Homestead High School. See the route.

Mequon Nature Preserve’s 2nd Annual Run Wild 10K, 5K, & 3K Trail Run and Walk

Proceeds from the event help underwrite wildlife education programs at the Mequon Nature Preserve. You may register online prior to the event.


7:00 a.m. – Registration and T-shirt/bib pick-up for the competitive races
7:30 a.m. – Wild Bird Competitive 10K Trail Run
7:35 a.m. – Wild Frog Competitive 5K Trail Run
8:30 a.m. – Awards ceremony for the competitive races

9:00 a.m. – Registration and T-shirt/ bib pick-up for the non-timed races below
9:30 a.m. – Wild Frog 5K Run & Wild Caterpillar 3K Walk. There will be a kids scavenger hunt included in the 3K walk.

All runs start and end at the Pieper Power Education Center at the Mequon Nature Preserve. See the route.

3rd Annual Run on the Green 5K and Youth Fun Run

Held exclusively inside Mequon Rotary Park, the majority of the race is on grass and trail surfaces. There’s rockin’ live music throughout the race plus pre and post race refreshments. Each participant receives a complimentary lawn seat  ticket to Saturday night’s Gathering on the Green event ($20.00 value).You may register online until Friday, July 12, 2013.

Logemann Community Center’s 3rd Annual Historic Day 5K

This race will benefit the Logemann Community Center and money raised will support the dozens of community programs at the center. The race route is currently being finalized, but it will begin and end at Thiensville Park. Online registration is already underway.

Concordia University President’s 5K Run/Walk

Held to raise money for the Cross Country and Track & Field Programs, this race also honors Concordia University President Rev. Dr. Patrick T. Ferry.

The race will be held on the university cross country course. Start and finish is on the lot of land south of Highland Road (across the street from the main campus entrance). Pre-race online registration is already available.


7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. – Event day registration in the Field House Lobby
9:00 a.m. – 5K Run

Awards for the 5K Run: Overall top male & female. Top 3 in each division, Kids (10 and under), Youth (11-14 & 15–19), 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

Junior Woman’s Club of Mequon-Thiensville 9th Annual 5K Turkey Trot & Gobble Gallop

Proceeds of this annual favorite are usually designated for a specific community need. Last year’s event proceeds went towards the redevelopment of the community signboard located at the northeast corner of Mequon and Cedarburg Roads in Mequon.

The course begins at the intersection of Riverview and Elm Street (Thiensville) and finishes in front of the Thiensville Fire House on Elm Street. Registration for the 2013 race is not yet live.
